Frequently Asked Questions

We know that life with little ones can be unpredictable.

Illnesses, family emergencies, and unexpected schedule changes happen. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to let us know if your family is dealing with a situation and needs a little extra support, we will always do our best to accommodate.

What is your cancellation policy?

To reserve your child's place, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required. Deposits and payments are non-refundable.

If your child is unable to attend a scheduled class, we will do our best to offer a make-up class on another available date, subject to availability.

If Meadow Art House cancels a class, you may choose either a full refund for that class or a make-up class at no additional cost.

Do children need previous art experience?

Not at all. Children of all experience levels are welcome.

What should my child wear?

Please send your child in clothing that can get messy!

While we use washable materials whenever possible, creating art can be wonderfully messy and we embrace that at Meadow House.

Is food provided?

Food is not provided but there is a water station on site where children can refill their water bottles.

Do parents stay during class?

Parents are welcome to stay or drop off their child, depending on what works best for your family. If your child requires bathroom assistance or additional support, we ask that a parent or caregiver remain on site for the duration of class.

What kinds of art will my child explore?

Projects vary by session and may include clay, painting, drawing, printmaking, fiber arts, sculpture, bookmaking, and mixed media. Each semester is designed around open-ended exploration and the creative process.
